Crunch Time

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
Well, six days to go and it seems like we have sixty things remaining to do. Getting ready for a vacation shouldn't be this stressful. We'll be making our last push this weekend to nail down everything. Our "wall of luggage" is semi-packed. This weekend we'll finish that up, cross-packing clothes into each other's suitcases to diminish the possibility of any one person not having sufficient clothing in the highly likely event that their suitcase is misplaced en route to Barcelona. We've also secured a dependable housesitter and will rent a large guard dog while we're gone. So don't try anything!

I've read that Internet service onboard is spotty, but we'll try to post here as possible. Our new camera is going with us, so I have no excuse for not providing you with some nice photography. I'm also considering having the kids post from time to time to give their thoughts. Speaking of kids, Meg was crushed when we broke the news that her cell phone would have to remain off while we were gone. "What's a teen supposed to do w/out a cell phone," she said. Ah, modern technology!
